Greg Swinks is the company’s Chief Estimator, a role added in 2011 to his original responsibilities as preconstruction manager when he joined the firm in 2010. He works closely with the Vice President of Preconstruction Services to insure new projects are fairly and competitively priced and quality subcontractor relationships are developed and pursued. Greg collaborates with subcontractors and vendors helping them submit proposals that are complete and accurate in accordance with bid documents. He also participates in preliminary evaluations, constructability reviews, and value engineering. Greg works closely with owners to establish a level of trust during the pricing phase which in turn leads to repeat business. He also assists the firm with their participation in local trade shows, marketing, website maintenance, and the quarterly newsletter.

Prior to his career with Rogers, Greg worked in commercial construction for 16 years. His areas of concentration with Rogers includes Senior Living, Hospitality, Animal Shelters, Schools and Church projects.  Greg holds a bachelors degree in Construction Management from Southern Tech in Marietta, GA. He is a member of Georgia Branch, AGC’s Young Leadership Program.
