Jun 01 2006
The Georgia Branch of the AGC awarded Rogers Construction Co. the Build Georgia Award for the second year in a row, this time for their work expanding and renovating Hopkins Elementary School in Lilburn, Georgia.
This unique project required extensive demolition and the realignment of a live sanitary sewer, a 90,000 sq ft, three-story addition, an 85,000 sq ft renovation of the existing school (which had to be completed in just six weeks), a new activity building, a new playground and a new parking lot with retaining walls and utilities. The project was completed on time and without a single safety incident.
Rogers also received an honorable mention by the AGCGA for their work on Habersham EMC.
