Rogers Construction Co. Wins 2005 Build Georgia Award for Glenn Jones Middle School and an Honorable Mention for Walton EMC

The Georgia Branch of the AGC awarded Rogers Construction Co. First Place in the 2005 Build Georgia Award for their outstanding work on the Glenn Jones Middle School in Buford as well as an Honorable Mention for their work on the Walton EMC.

The Glenn Jones Middle School was a difficult build which included the clearing and grading of 22 acres, protecting wetlands, wide-ranging erosion control measures, 1900 linear feet of retaining walls and over 92 inches of rainfall during construction. Despite considerable adversity, Rogers Construction completed the 153,000 sq ft middle school on time and with an exceptional safety record.
