Roger S. Huggins, President and CEO
Since 1978, Roger has been involved extensively in the field and project management areas before assuming the responsibilities of President and C.E.O. in 1986. Roger holds the degree of Bachelor of Science in Industrial Management from Georgia Institute of Technology. As controlling manager of the company, Roger continues the tradition of excellence by directing the operations, management and long range planning for the company.
Derek Hearn, Vice President and Sr. Project Manager
Derek came to Rogers Construction Company in 1994 as a successful Senior Project Manger. With more than twenty years experience in commercial, industrial and residential construction, Derek was promoted to Vice President in January of 2000. Having earned England’s Higher National Certificate in Construction, Derek completed additional study to become a member of the prestigious Chartered Institute of Building.
Carole J. Harvey, Corporate Secretary and Office Manager
Assuming responsibility for payroll and cost control in 1969, Carole has expanded her role to include the duties of office and financial manager and serves as corporate secretary for the company. Carole provides impeccable service by ensuring the smooth operation of our administrative functions and is active in the National Association of Women in Construction.
Walter Elliott III, Chief Estimator
Having worked in the industry since 1972, Walter gained great experience running field engineering crews and managing project layout. He is an expert estimator and is responsible for the pre-construction budgeting and pricing of all Rogers Construction Company projects. Walter is a graduate of The Southern College of Technology with an Associates Degree in Civil Engineering.
Rick Vickery, Risk Manager / Fields Operations Coordinator
Rick ensures the safety of our crew, subcontractors and all visitors on our sites. By making routine safety inspections to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and certifying that all key personnel have received the required OSHA required safety training and education, Rick helps us to keep our commitment to provide the highest level of safety in every project we participate in.
Chad Clark, Vice President of Preconstruction Services
Chad joined Rogers Construction Company in 2002 after spending two years as a project manager specializing in waterproofing & fireproofing. He has also served as a manager for the Home Depot corporation and prior to that he served in the United States Air Force Intelligence Agency for seven years. He was promoted to project management in 2003 and he also serves on Rogers executive committee over Pre-Construction services. Chad serves as Vice Chair of the (AGC) Associated General Contractors of America Young Leaders Program and has been a member of the AGC for eight years.
